Topic for Week of March 26, 2012

We have occasionally talked this year about the theme of "connections". Write a few sentences about personal connections you see between yourself and "A Tale of Two Cities". Do you see a connection between you and one of the characters? or between you and something that happened in the novel? Let us know your personal thoughts on this question.

"Five paces by four and a half" is too little room for most people. My dear cousin Christine, or Claustrophobic Christine, is claustrophobic so I for one would know that a mere five paces is no where near enough room. Even if this was a huge cell she couldn't be there being alone in solitary confinement is enough to drive anyone up a wall, which is probably only five paces high.
